In the world of Viagra, the highest level of a drug is about to be sold. That is because the drug maker has decided that Pfizer Inc.'s Viagra will be able to lower that number, the FDA says.
A spokesman said the pill is still under way but it is being developed by Pfizer in the US and is expected to start selling later this year.
Viagra is the second drug in the world to have a lower level of a drug. It was approved in the US in 1998 by the Food and Drug Administration.
Pfizer said in a statement that it had decided to sell the drug "on the assumption that the amount of a drug sold in the US will be low enough that a consumer in the US will not be affected by its low level."
In the same statement, a spokesman for Pfizer said: "Pfizer will be able to lower the amount of a pill sold in the US by approximately 25%."
The spokesman added that "Viagra is approved in all 25 countries."
Pfizer has set out a target price for Viagra, which is estimated to cost between $5-9 a pill, depending on the drug.
But the company had no immediate plans to bring Viagra to market. Pfizer said it was disappointed with the ruling and was looking at other options, including selling the drug in the US.
In the meantime, Pfizer is in talks with many companies about creating a generic version of Viagra.
The drugmaker has also said it will sell its generic version in the US.
The drugmaker is also interested in developing a new name for Viagra, which is expected to be available in the US by mid-2019.
